Bostik completed the acquisition of XL Brands, a developer of floor covering adhesives in the U.S., on January 2. 

With this acquisition, which complements the acquisition of CMP in May 2017, Arkema actively pursues the development of Bostik which should exceed one third of the Group’s sales by 2023, the company says.

With a brand new production facility in Dalton, GA, XL Brands offers innovative and environmentally friendly solutions that are fully complementary to Bostik’s product range in the U.S. (hardwood flooring adhesives, floor preparations, sealants, etc.).

Bostik announced it would acquire XL Brands in November.
